Hi!
My name is Samantha and I'm the woman behind J' adore Needlepoint.
I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, son and two stepsons and two dogs.
I officially started needlepointing in 2019 after wanting to start for many years. Like many others I saw beautiful pictures of finished projects and canvases on instagram. Combined with my love of all things preppy, pink, East Coast, New England, chinoiserie, blue and white, traditional, etc. my desire to needlepoint grew.
I took the plunge after buying a canvas on Etsy. After much googling and watching YouTube videos I taught myself how to needlepoint and my passion took off!
I started painting about a year and a half ago. At first just experimenting and teaching myself how to paint on canvas. About six months later I painted a few designs, received positive feedback and took the plunge and J’ adore Needlepoint was started.
J’ adore Needlepoint roughly translates to “I love Needlepoint.” This is definitely true for me. I love the creative process of bringing an idea to canvas equally as much as stitching!
I am very thankful that I made the decision to start needlepointing. I have met so many wonderful women and I look forward to growing in this community and creating more designs.
